What is difference between UMAC, Sanda and wrestling event?
UMAC event allows various fighters of different discipline to display their skills with least interference from referees. Only kicking, boxing and knocking are allowed In Sanda
match. In UMAC, however, it is allowed to use combat techniques, namely takedown and submission skills.
What is the difference of UMAC referees?
The UMAC referees are mainly for ensuring safety of the fighters. There is no points system in UMAC and there are only three ways to determine the results of the match, namely
KO, submission or voluntary withdrawal from the opponents.
Is there a points system in UMAC match?
Basically, if both fighters have not KO his opponent or quit, the referee will decide the results. The referee decides the result according to control ability and offence degree
of the fighters. This ensures the fighters vigorous and active in fighting.
Is UMAC the same as caged fighting?
Of course not, UMAC is a platform for kinds of professional fighters and it is approved by relevant authorities.
It seems very dangerous, doesn¡¯t it?
As a matter of fact, all sports have potential risks. However, after we comparing UMAC with other foreign match of the same kind, we have found that UMAC is safe. Because it
will be stopped if one of the fighters is out of control or cannot bear offence from his opponent. In case of being submitted, the fighter can tap to give up the match.
Meanwhile, throwing towel by the fighters of the same team also means to give up the game.
In the dangerous sports such as boxing, the fighter must stand up in given time (countdown), because continuous punch in the head will result in brain injury.
What is ground combating?
Combating is based on Di Tanggong. It means that the fighter can continue to fight while lying on the ground and win by applying locking or other submission skills, which is
different from KO through kicking, punching or throwing.
During the fight a fighter can choose ground combating, which is beneficial for the fighters who have wrestling and combating basis.

UMAC is a common platform for all kinds of martial arts. Martial arts are popular in China for thousands of years. Martial arts similar to UMAC event has been practiced in
police and military. The essence of UMAC event is combat, with fighters of different disciplines fighting in the same field.
What kind of Martial Arts fighters are allowed for UMAC?
Fighters of all styles are allowed, and the question is that which kind of fighters are more competive¨CBoxing, Sanda, Muay Thai, Free Style wrestling, Greco Roman wrestling,
Chinese wrestling, Mongolian wrestling, Kickboxing, Jiujutsu, Brazilian Jujitsu, Karate, etc.
Are traditional Chinese kungfu fighters such as Shaolin or Tai Chi ones allowed for UMAC?
Yes, if only they are standard in weight and qualified.
What kind of fighters participating in UMAC events?
It is the first time for us to hold this event. Our fighters include famous ones such as: Bao Ligao, ASiLaTu, Zhu Yunlong, Zhang Tiequan, Yang Jianping, Liu Jinwen, Yang Yuchun,
Jiang Zhouwen. All are famous ones of different disciplines in China.
Is UMAC the same as UFC?
UMAC is similar to UFC, but the difference lies in that we use a ring course instead of octagon cage and our rules are safer because referees will stop a fight according to the
bleeding situation. The referees can stop a fight for safekeeping if the fighter has fighted for too long a time.
